Teaching Philosophy
I believe that the game of golf should be taught starting from the hole back to the tee. If you learn how to chip and putt well, it takes pressure off of the rest of your game. Golf is a challenging game and if you try to walk before you can crawl, it can make for a frustrating experience.
Creating a routine that is consistent and having a sound mental approach is critical to playing good golf. All great golfers have the same routine before every shot which allows them to overcome nerves in pressure situations.
It's important for me to communicate with my students and to understand their goals and learning style before the first lesson. The better I know my students, the better the experience for everyone involved.
